EPCOS, formerly known as Siemens Matsushita Components, was founded in 1989 in Munich, Germany. Products cover the field of communications, consumer, automotive and industrial electronics. In October 2009, EPCOS and TDK components business were merged by the Japanese company in TDK-EPC (referred to as TDK-EPC) management.
